What are your hobbies/interests?

I love to play instruments such as: guitar, piano, ukulele, and drums. I also love to play sports such as: volleyball and football. As for the winter, I am learning how to snowboard, and it is FUUN! I am also interested in deep philosophical talks that get you thinking about next level stuff.

What’s your favorite book? Movie? Show?

My favorite book is “Rich dad Poor Dad” by Robert Kiyosaki and Sharon Lechter. I used to love reading the Percy Jackson series but stopped like 8th grade. As for favorite show, my favorite is “The 100”.

My favorite song, at the moment, is “Leave before you love me” by Marshmello & Jonas Brothers.

What do you do on your free time? 

During my free time, I scroll through Tic Toc or watch YouTube videos.

What motivates you? Who is your hero?  

My mom inspires me to work hard and to not limit myself or my capabilities.

Where are you from?

I am a Minnesotan resident. I used to live in St. Paul but now live in Oakdale

I value hard work, passion, honesty, humility, and kindness

Why did you join HMSA?

I joined HMSA to be involved with promoting and improving the Hmong culture within the University of Minnesota Twin Cities community. I wanted to pursue my visions of advancing the Hmong community while taking charge in spreading awareness on Hmong issues and providing support to those in need.

What are your hopes/aspirations/goals?

In the future, I aspire to become a physician or have a self-owned business. I want to be able to be in a position where I can give back and provide huge services to my Hmong community. Also, one of my biggest goals is to give back to my parents someway for all their hard work which allowed me to have an opportunity in higher level education.
